I'm opening this thread, because I think there are things to show that every human being should have seen or read in his or her lifetime.
I think these are inherently beautiful, because they teach us important concepts regarding our human condition, and the leading ideologies of the time we live in. They help us relate better, and help us become more emphatic.

Everyone is free to join, below are my contributions.
I would rather not that this turns into a political debate, open a thread in the cage if you feel the need to.

Tim Harford argues that too much importance is given to expertise and a-priori knowledge.
For the number of conditions and parameters is too high in non-isolated experiments.
He therefore advocates for a design process based on evolution and natural selection.
