WDA# 027 The Illustrated Song

Espen & Dazla are rather busy at the moment so I am helping out for the meanwhile. If you have any ideas for the next or any upcoming WDA's send me a PM please as I am sure I will run out of ideas

The pictures format can maximum be 1000x1000 or less.
when the deadline is over, a vote will be raised , for you to vote for your favorite entry, I'm not the judge here, everyone is.

This WDA idea was suggested by Elephant (thank you )

These things need to be included, to get into the vote.
1) An illustration of one of you favourite songs (Be it what you believe the song is about, how it makes you feel, what the lyrics say, etc etc...)
2) IF you wish to, you may also want to throw in a line or two of the lyrics into the picture.


I'm wanting to see how this one will turn out seeing as it gives you guys a lot of options.


Have one post for your entry, don't post a new picture in new a post, edit your old post with the update.CLEARLY DESIGNATE YOUR FINAL.

Please save your entry as, for example. "song_wda27.jpg"don't use old drawings, and use more then 15 minutes on the picture..

And with that I'm telling you to have fun, and get inspired to create the best illustration you can!

i totally love the style, its really nice, maybe add some colour contrast, some blue for the orange and green for the red to make it pop...just an idea!
do you refine the rendering or is it your final?

na i think thats as far as im gunna get with it- im not very good at painting environments yet, if i overwork it ill just ruin it. Just wanted to have a little fun with the topic (well done to elephant for coming up with it btw)

lol are you serious, if you dont dare to keep working at it and refining it you wont get better, even if you feel youre not able to do it you should try for the sake of improving
like smoothen the explosion using some refs, adding details on the houses, get rid of the scetch strokes and so on, the pic has great potential, it would be sad if you dont keep working on it man...
