ha! that looks supercool. love the first cloud shot and the haircuts.
what if you cut out the black titles and just have it flow?

i tried that but it seemed to have more of an impact that way... well in the tests at least.  but i find with the titles the cuts are a bit fast and its hard to make out whats happening after so will do more tests on it at a later date...

i do plan to finish it hopefully by next valentines haha .  in the meantime i have work to do for school but im milking any free time i have to sketch and do more basic studies...

here's a quickie ....haven't started learning hands and feet but proportions i think are improving  Huh?

update just finished this  a while later..an hour or so Tongue

Ok, this is going to sound dumb, but i havent taken any serious art courses, can someone tell me what saturation is, is it the tone between the shading and the base color or something? and if it is how do u get the right tone for the saturation?

Your work is really brilliant by the way, keep it up.

Saturation is the amount of colour. It goes from grey to very "hard" colours.

STUNNING!
I adore your style. You are great at drawing hands too Smiley

My only beef is that is is a little over saturated but again it is a stylized piece. I would love to see you paint a piece that is super stylized but looks very realistically painted.

Do you like the sculptor Giacometti at all?

Thanks Juggz i've been doing lots of hand and Fatsack facial studies.. they were my weak points [i'll be tackling environs next Tongue].    Yea it is a bit oversaturated guess i overdid it a bit trying to make some parts pop out like the trees and the grass and the fire brown on the horse-body; i have to keep telling myself less is more and know when to stop hehe.
I DO love that artist his style and the elongated really skinny forms...brilliant stuff.

i think he means the really pure bright blues and greens i used... kinda hurts the eyes Tongue

some quick stuff my countrie's national bird and animal [toucan and tapir]

OH dude i some changes between the storyboard and the final result, and to be honest some scenes in the storyboard are better than your choice in the final animation, but thats just my opinion

for example the first 2 scenes show really good what the whole animation is about, those chimneys in the final illustration were hardly readable to me

the other one is the establishing shot showing the city in the back and the robot in the front, the lightnign and color in the storyboard are amazing, really nice atmo there, i also like the style of the final but somehow im more into that storyboard thumb ^^

hope you dont mind my crits

i love the animation nonetheless! really nice work for 2 days!
and im digging your dr who! cant wait to see your final Tongue

Gorgeous as always!

I loved the animation. Didn't think it would be that fluid for 2 days work!
I especially like how the spade formed in his hand and then all the robots hands at the end. Really really nice.

The bloom lighting in the animation and soft shadows are beautiful.

Keep up the stellar work.
