Nice work Jagondudo (That's right! I know! >Cheesy ) My picture for that thread is almost done aswell.

I really like how you did the shading for this piece. I'm practicing my digital art and sooner or later I'll be as good as you! Very strange portraying of a LightSaber, I must say but I do like this one alot. Although I don't really like how you did the feet...

I also love your 2 entries for the E.o.W, especially the Autumn one. If I mremeber correctly I voted for you, I maybe wrong though.

Please post more, particularly the landscape ones!  Wink

goshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thats awesome mate!!!!
awesome colours, guess u used some overlay or light mode, right?
the proprtions are really nice
what i dont like bout the concept
the horizontal line of the lazer sword destroys the flow of the character itself and the placement of the character with the sword creates two blank areas wich draw the attention off it
the belly looks a bit flat
and i dont like that "floating"
would be much better to make the character stand...but that may be only me
im missing the other arm, you could put a hand where the hip is to show its there, otherwise you have a one-armed jedi, but maybe you wanted that
and the last point is the gravity line, if you draw a vertical line through the character, trying to find the center of gravity for your character it pretty much from the ear-thing to the left foot but since her right leg is the supporting leg and the one where the gravity line goes through is non supporting you whole character would fall to the left, this effect is increased by the postition and direction of the lazer sword

ah yeah and the boobs looked as if somebody glued them on her, they dont fit there, especially coz theyre brighter than the rest of the plate, plus textureless though right beneath it there is some texture, maybe take one of those lines and make it describe the form of the boob to make it more believable
and the belly button is wrong too id say, it should be a bit more up and a slight bit to the right,

ah yeah and just to try it out, to find out about the supporting leg and the hip and chest cavity direction, try to do the stance she is doing yourself, try to stand like she does, youll notice that its hardly doable...

hope you dont mind the crits man, and i hope some of them are right
still its a really cool design, especially the stuff she has on her head, the flow of the character itself is nice
your faces became incredibly awesome dude
nice job on this one, keep it up
