When in doubt, ask a hobo.

So I take a break from painting my W40K orkz to play a little Halo 3, I get into a party with some random guy after a game and it loads up Cold Storage Team BR's.  Right in the middle of the match the guy starts swearing for no reason and says his house is shaking and the TV's rocking.  So after the game I go to the television to find LA just had a 2.8 quake, and this guy played Halo all the way through it  rolleyes

I spose damage reports will be coming back later, according to his girlfriend a mini mall got trashed, most likely people grabbing stuff in the confusion.  A quake on the easy side, but just an interesting tidbit for my day.

I live in L.A. and I just felt an earthquake a little while ago. The earthquake was around 5.6 on the scale and it shook up my house a good bit.

Well, comparing the intensity with the ones we usually have in my country, its like a cup of tea, but then keep in mind that California is on top of a fault near the surface, while mine is near the beach 50k underground. Also considering the type of soil california is built, i still dont know how its still on its feet

Apparently you could feel the quake down here in San Diego, but I slept through it.  Bingbong
