Finally, it's done!  I can work on other stuff now (such as other jobs that are backed up now due to this thing...)!

This started out as a two week project, then add one week for revisions, then another, and then another for all the other nitpick revisions... (is the sun smiling big enough?  Is the bird flying by at the right speed?  Is the crown molding in the dining room that is only visible for 0.3 seconds the right color now?)

So, here is the first one before all the revisions:

And here's the other one with the one week of major revisions and the two weeks of frivolous revisions:

great work man! I frame-by-framed it. The faux 3D camera trucking effect on the lawn was pretty impressive. There's a lot going on though and I admit I never noticed the dog, the bird or the sun until the 3rd or 4th viewing.

Oh my my. My eyes are just about to pop by how quickly and smoothly this animation flows. It was pretty hard to take it all in at once.

Great work! I can just hope to make something as nice as that later on.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. Smiley
I was pretty worried about too much going on in the first version, since 15 seconds was all I was allowed to work in and certain things need to be on long enough for people to read.

The faux 3D camera trucking effect on the lawn was pretty impressive.

That was the most difficult thing to work with, too.  Flash can't handle effects like what I was doing with the grass, especially when I had to export the final thing for display in the pre-movie (pre-preview?) ads in a movie theater.  Which not only is 1280x720 resolution, but 59.94 frames-per-second.  Converting an image sequence to video was the only way to go.

That was really good. How'd you get lined up to animate that one?
Anhow, there were things in the early edition that I liked a little more than the second one. Obviously, the black picture frames looked much better brightened up.... but I sorta liked the extra long grass as the camera trucked and on the final sequence with the phone number, it was easier to tell that the grass was getting cut by the little walk cycle guy. Either way, both were excellent and will surely stand out as compared to any other lawn ad.
