Halloween Short.

Well, Halloween's around the corner and I decided I needed to make something. So I started yestderday and got the story down. I missed out a few scenes and there is an alternative ending. Here is the rough idea and I shall start the full thing soon. I can keep you updated if I make big improvements, if you want!

Instead of killing him you could have the zombie bite into his head and go fade black with a fading scream. and while it shows credits have some creapy music. then have the music fade when the credits end. then have one last scary face pop up and scream. then says happy halloween!

That's pretty much was I am doing, it's just not too clear. The full story is as follows :

A man is running from something but you don't know. He finds an alley and runs in and it turns out to be a dead end. *OMG CLECHÉ* The camera shoots to his face as if the unknown entity got him. It all fades to black and then comes back a show of him curled into a ball shivering. You can't see his face. The camera turns behind him as he slowly stands up and walks out of the alley. He then walks down the street to the edge of the path where he stares into the sky fora while. Until someone walks up, puts his hand on his shoulder and asks how he is. He then turns around and bites the poor guy. Fading to black again witha scream and some blood noises etc. OR as soon as the first man bit the other the first man woke up. And the words "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" showed on a black screen. I have other endings like he just dissappears or he falls dead etc but I have another one I'd liketo feature in the short. The alternate, feautred ending will be of him standing on the path. And then the camera turns to his face, Suddenly a demon/zombie jumps up from behind and he either wakes up or it fades to a black screen saying "HAPPY HALLOWEEN" with screaming and blood splatters.

I still have a long way to go and I'm really  inexperianced with Flash. Which is why I'm waiting on Adam's Acadamy!

Wow, this is gonna be awesome.
Though i do have some kind of ideas.
For example:

.You could do a TwilightZone ending, where, after he had been curled up, he gets up and walks off slowly, (without showing his face) and he's walking down the street normally, people around him could be looking at him and screaming or running away or something, and he's still wandering what's going on, and then the guy comes up to him and asks him if he's okay, it fades to black, and you hear a scream and blood splatter, and maybe  a biting sound, then go back and show your character facing the screen  (Zombified)  and then play the twilight zone music or something.   (at this point, HAPPY HALOWEEN comes up on the screen or something.)  lol

Well, all im going to say is try and keep the viewers guessing, don't make anything obvious, and don't show any of the gore/violence, it's scarier when all you hear is the sounds.

Thats quite good you just need to work on it a bit more whats the frames per second.?

20 fps, I think. I was meant to add more frames but I cba. Tbh I completely forgot about it, I'll start work tomorrow on the running cycle. I'm not too good at committing

Yes, you did help a bit WeirdlyHero. I had an idea where everyone stared at him untill he got to the end of the road and then he dissintergrated into light particles. but I though, not only could I not do that... ever... but it'd be kinda cheesy.

You should try 25 it runs more smoothly and 30fps is just perfection but the thing is that if it is a short animation its over in no time so you need to use 30fps on animation coming up over 3 mins
