WDA# 029 Book Character

Espen & Dazla are rather busy at the moment so I am helping out for the meanwhile. If you have any ideas for the next or any upcoming WDA's send me a PM please as I am sure I will run out of ideas

The pictures format can maximum be 1000x1000 or less.
when the deadline is over, a vote will be raised , for you to vote for your favorite entry, I'm not the judge here, everyone is.

These things need to be included, to get into the vote.
1) Draw your favourite character from a childrens book that you have read.

And that's it, nice and simple, now have fun


Have one post for your entry, don't post a new picture in new a post, edit your old post with the update.CLEARLY DESIGNATE YOUR FINAL.

Please save your entry as, for example. "tree_wda24.jpg"don't use old drawings, and use more then 15 minutes on the picture..

And with that I'm telling you to have fun, and get inspired to create the best illustration you can!

Children's books might be more interesting and flexible to work with. Just a thought.

Does it have to be an official kids book? Or a book you read and understood when you we're a kid, maybe even comic strips? An example would be Footrot Flats.

The rules aren't too tight, a book would be better as comics are primarily pictures, but if you want to you can do it how you've said.

I liked the picture books, but I can understand it's a sort of cheating. Did I ever read anything that didn't have 50% or more pictures when I was little?

i would love to do one but every childrens book i read was already illustrated or they made a movie out of it
well i didnt read much but those i read were obvious, how many days do we have left? i may have something in mind but idk if its an international one, and im not sure if it fits the description of a childrens book...anyone heard of the book "dragon's blood" by jane yolen??
would it fit the brief?
