Unfortunately the thing up there ^ fell through Sad after all our hard work, oh well, new year new stuff:

A PS3 for a simple assignment  in learning MAYA:

Got bored by the end of this one so I rushed this render out.

And a WIP of a character Im doin now, the assignment breif was to make background characters that would appear in inspector gadget. It took a little work but the mesh flow is pretty sweet:

And crit or comments welcome Cheesy

You've got good taste as for the tattoo. As for the PS3, I saw it and thought you just posted a photo of one. It is very convincing!

So the charcter up ^ there somewhere was put into a scene with another character and animated and what not. You can watch it HERE. The biggest let down on it is the sound, but I didn't make them, my mate did (he also animated the other character) and I did the best that I could with them when putting them into the film.

But, now we're doing 'photo-realistic' (or atleast trying) heads in class, I ended up modelling myself, here's a progress shot:

Im just really happy with the ear, it turned out nice, which is good because apparently they can be the bane of modellers. I've made slight changes since this shot buts it's pretty much the same.

Looks good so far. Are you guys working with texture mapping and such? If so, I can't wait to see the final result.

Cheers, mate. Smiley

So progress went pretty good on the 3d head for a while, but now we've taken a break from it in class so we can produce our commercial production, so I'll post an update on the head in the future.

For now, I thought I'd give the old derwents a work out trying some new stuff:

The eyes are screwed on this one ^
