Thanks for all the feedback guys, I've got quite a few things I haven't posted yet from my children's book gig but haven't had a moment to prepare it for web viewing. Hopefully I get some time this week. 
I'm dropping these GI images here too, in order to keep all my junk in one place: The GameInformer issue with the game I'm working on just came out and it's got 3 of my concept pieces. I'm primary the character designer on the project but I've done some other kinds of pieces too. Can't wait till the game ships so I can show you the rest. Here's a link to the teaser trailer, but don't judge us by the teaser, that's all "marketing people". I can honestly say that I've been amazed with what our artists are accomplishing with the visuals and it's only getting better everyday. I think fans of the original will be blown away when they see the final product. Glad to have my small part in it. Sorry for the doo-doo photos.     |

He needed a redesign, fantastic work.
Most of the open mouth expressions look saddened and the extent of his jaw looks limited, maybe loosen that a bit? The overall design though is fantastic.

I wanted to maintain the beak and have some teeth showing but the "hood" puts a natural frown on him.. I think it definitely deserves some more time to sort out. |
