I tend to like folk music and classical music, but not all types. Also jazz.

I don't like most modern music with lyrics, and I don't usually enjoy the electric guitar sound.

I hate New Age, Techno and Trance music.

I believe that music must be at least one of these three things: fun, beautiful or dramatic. I try to keep that as a guideline when I compose.

Normally I listen to straight Heavy Metal, but recently I've moved to the more screamo and alt rock relatively small aussie bands, who have some really good stuff. Also more techno-ish stuff like daft punk and what not.

My main influences in music are Iron Maiden, Trivium, Dungeon, etc etc, pretty much any good band in similar genres.
