OH MY GOD ITS RUSSEL CROWE i love the rendering on him, looks awesome, the harsh contrast on his head suggests strong lightning but the rest of his body is barely lit, that looks a bit odd to me, but the rest is really greas, loving the blue dust around him

Nice studies! Boxers and martial artists are great to study from, I've been doing them from www.mmaphotography.com

I love that explosion, especially how the dirt flies through the air.

I never saw that speed paint kaboomm whateverness .... anyways i dig the foreground dark values of the trees and surrounding. I think it would look a little nicer if you threw some color on that character. Actully you know what. Your going to hate me for saying this but i want you to spend lik 4 hours on rendering up the foreground really nicely and sharply. Then the contrast from the explosion and the foreground will be exceltn and it will be a really really really rad finished piece. Yep i said it i want it to be finished not just a speed paint

i only used like 40 minutes on that piece, it would be overkill to spend 500% more time on it ;P

Woah, that is a sweet piece. It got way more awesome once I recognized those were trees, not bushes and realized the immense scale of those rocks. I think the birds confused me, they look way too big compared the the mountainous size of them rocks.

Man, you are ridiculous. I envy your talents, seriously. I wish I could have the patience to just sit down and create works like you do. But I just get too frustrated and I can't get motivated to finish big works that I'm capable of. So I resort to creating characters for future video games... Someday, maybe someday.
