(Talking with rythm
Is not a necessity
Just something for fun

Now, no confusion
You haikus were quite lovely
I much enjoyed them)

Does the light shine through?
This place does not seem whole
Illumination

Emily is here
she won't stop cooking pancakes
the house smells of them.

she stands there, long stare,
crazy green and purple hair
spatula in hand

and with a smile, glance,
demands to know of me, well...
"Sweet or savory?"

her stance reads quite well,
confidence with her new style.
she looks like her mum.

but painted bright, weird.
the cut has the same high peaks.
and the girl then speaks,

"Peter said I could"
I knew that she would say that.
Is it true this time?

by the way, Relym
thank you for your great haikus.
glad the thread still lives.

A return so sweet
But I fear I was not missed
Am I alone, here?

through this lonely mist
you shine brightly, beckoning
the return to form.

you are not alone
I will fight fire and ice, yes,
I am here my friend.

I will come often,
here whenever I can be.
but time is oft' scarce.

And, my dearest friend,
of course you where sorely missed
but here we are now.

Under the surface
Why won't anyone find me?
Soon I will have drowned

---------------------------------------

A fire burns inside,
But I remain in the snow
Music in my ears

---------------------------------------

Where has the girl gone?
Here, just a moment ago
Inside of my arms

---------------------------------------

Words are a treasure
They hold immense power, yet
You cannot hear me

this simple Haiku
makes way for something greater
just a messenger

when I run to them
his arms are a blank canvas
and my screams are paint

Strength of energy
Rising inside of my chest
Threatening to burst

This power is pure
But surely not it's purpose
Too good to be true

I just want to run
Sprint as far as I can go
"til I am nothing

Then I'll be harmless
And even if I'm alive
I'll be far away

-----------------------------------------

A bit more angsty
Than my regular poems
Alas, inspired

suffering is oft'
the way to greatness of mind
never easy though.

its seems that the pain
inspires the twitching movement
of pen on paper.

but I always love,
and always shall, to see
I have such comrades.

Healthy ones are sick
The able-bodied crippled
Arrogance, I fear

----------------------------------------

This welling inside
I have never felt this way
Not as bad, at least

The clouds that shroud them,
have cleared from my eyes at last.
All it took where tears.

condensing, falling
like Scottish rain across moors
making my heart full.

Then empty, quiet.
Hope took hold like strong heather
resistant. total.

Baron rock covered;
love that no despair could graze.
My homeland calls out.

That seems a bit odd.
Are those typos I see there?
Where, baron are were, barren

Perhaps I am wrong
And I've missed the true meaning
But we all type fast
