In the WTF!? Inn, respawning was not always assured. But in the center of the multiverse, where ideas, people, and objects collide, chaos was never in short supply. Meet the Crossroads Hotel, built before the Inn, a millenia before, in fact. But time doesn't matter there, people from the past, present, and future all rest there, weary from their interdimensional travels...
Rules and Information: This is much like the WTF!? Inn but the looming specter of Death can claim you. Thankfully there are priests and priestesses on hand to revive you... at a price. The lobby is much the same, a constant "party". Outside the Hotel is the Chaotic Core-a crazed landscape consisting of floating islands connected by natural bridges. The terrain smoothly flows from grass to sand to dirt to rock to water to lava to swamp to ocean...you get the point. One cannot fall off the islands or bridges-should one do so they will simply find themselves landing on the bottom of the island or bridge.
=Samuel (not the Rifter)=
From: Modern Earth
Magical affinities: Fire, Lightning, Wind
Background: Sam was born and raised a normal human, but something about him seemed...different. He would always find himself away from everyone else, trying to make sense of the strange feeling that constantly surged through him, unknown to him at the time, this was magical power...
Fast forward to 16. Sam's magical power finally awakened and he found himself able to manipulate fire and air, as well as create lightning. The military saw uses for this and tried to steal him away. However, a portal opened, whisking him away to the Chaotic Core. He wandered until he was 17, whence he found the Hotel and now stays there....
Sam woke up, the sounds of the lobby playing across his ears, but his attention wasn't on that. He stared at the empty space next to him on the bed, an ache in his heart. "You'll find someone eventually..." pft. I'm probably the youngest person here. Oh well. He got up, and headed out of his room and down the stairs. "Oh, great, the Necromancers are playing Bone Wars again..." He said, gazing down at two oppossing armies of skeletons attacking eachother, directed by two teams of necromancers.
