I have become mildly addicted to Dragon Age 2, but I can't tell if I really really like it or if I hate it. Some aspects, I loath and despise with all of my being. Like how they brought Alistair back so that he could say ONE DAMN LINE FROM THE FIRST GAME AS FAN SERVICE EXCEPT HE WAS TOTALLY WRONG. His face and voice and general demeanor were wrong wrong wrong. And they brought back Isabella and she might as well have been an entirely different character. They brought an entire tribe of people from the first one and moved them all to another country despite it being remarkably inconsistent with the plot of the first game, apparently just for funsies. They brought Zevran back and made him look like a sheep. They totally changed the appearance of an entire RACE of people. Just because they could. They cut the dialog right back, which is super infuriating. And they changed the inventory system, so you can't just give team members the spare clothes you're carrying. You can only get them specific armour upgrades from specific places and at specific times.

And yet, despite all this, I've kept playing and for the most part enjoyed it. Could have something to do with my British love of complaining.

Complaints are like faces. Everyone has them. Some you could look at all day, and some are unbearable the moment they're revealed.

I think I'm going to file a complaint about how much British people complain.

I think it's more an enjoyment of the ensuing debate, or just the release of emotions. Amazingly I am quite emotionally contained. I've not screamed in at least six years. I'm not even sure I'm physically able to anymore. So sarcasm and complaints are so damn awesome.

Anyway, unless you're witty and eloquent, with well thought out points, no one likes to hear you whine. Zero Punctuation is an example of good complaining.

No, I agree. Some of the best comedy I've heard in my life is about complaining. Ever heard of George Carlin? All he ever did was complain.
